These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of cutle.org and its game, tools, content, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Cutle is a free browser-based shape-slicing puzzle. The Service may provide daily and archived puzzles, local progress tracking, custom-shape links, an SVG Path Normalizer, and other related content or tools.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that a particular puzzle, score, feature, or locally stored progress record will always remain available.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service for personal, lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Break applicable laws or infringe another person’s rights.
  • Interfere with, overload, probe, or attempt to bypass the security of the website or API.
  • Use automated requests in a way that disrupts the Service or prevents others from using it.
  • Generate invalid advertising impressions or clicks, or encourage others to interact with ads deceptively.
  • Submit malware, deceptive content, spam, or abusive messages through the contact form.
  • Misrepresent your identity or authority when submitting a privacy or copyright request.

Custom shapes and user-provided data

Custom SVG paths are supplied through a URL and processed by the browser. You are responsible for the paths and links you create, share, or use, including ensuring that you have the necessary rights and that the content is lawful and safe.

Do not encode personal, confidential, malicious, or sensitive information in a custom-shape URL. URLs may be copied, stored in browser history, logged, or included in analytics metadata as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not claim ownership of a custom SVG path merely because you use it with Cutle.

Intellectual property

The Service’s software, visual design, branding, text, and original puzzle content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where permitted by law or an applicable open-source license, you may not copy, republish, sell, or create a misleadingly branded version of the Service without permission.

Third-party names, content, and marks remain the property of their respective owners. If you believe content on Cutle infringes your copyright, review our DMCA Policy.

Advertising

Cutle may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense and other approved advertising partners. Advertising providers may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver, personalize, limit, and measure ads as described in our Privacy Policy.

Advertisements do not constitute Cutle’s endorsement of an advertiser, product, service, or claim. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator is not responsible for an advertiser’s content, availability, privacy practices, products, services, transactions, or resulting loss.

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and analytics providers and may link to external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Puzzle results and area ratios are estimates produced by browser-based geometry and sampling. They are provided for entertainment and should not be used for engineering, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other professional decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, progress, profits, or access arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
